성적인 죄를 극복하는 방법

This sin is so dangerous. We're given unique advice in the Bible to overcome it. 

이 죄는 정말 위험합니다. 우리는 이 죄를 극복하기 위해 성경을 통해 독특한 조언을 받았습니다.

 

As Christians when we think about sin, we often think about fighting.

크리스천으로서 우리가 '죄'를 생각할 때면, 우리는 종종 싸워 이겨야 한다고 생각하죠.

 

We come face to face with our enemy and we battle to the death for the Lord.

우리의 원수와 대적해야 한다고요. 그리고 주님을 위해 죽기까지 싸워야 한다고 생각하죠.

 

But when it comes to sexual temptation, the Bible says this: Flee sexual immorality. Flee youthful passions. Run from sexual sin. 

하지만 성적인 유혹에 대해서라면, 성경은 이렇게 말하고 있습니다. '성적인 음란함으로부터 도망쳐라', '청년의 정욕으로부터 도망쳐라', '성적인 죄로부터 도망가라'

 

God knows sexual temptation is so powerful that he just wants us to get out to run to flee. That might sound cowardly to you, but it's actually wisdom.

하나님은 알고 계십니다. 성적인 유혹은 정말 강력해서 그저 우리가 거기서 도망치길 원하신다는 것을요. 이것이 겁쟁이처럼 들릴지도 모르겠습니다만, 이건 실제로 지혜입니다.

 

Now at the same time, we're called to put to death our sexual sin. How do you put something to death? You starve it. I don't know about you, but starving to death is pretty painful.

이제 동시에 우리는 우리의 성적인 죄를 죽이라고 부르심을 받았습니다. 어떻게 죽일 수 있을까요? 그 죄를 굶겨 죽이세요. 여러분에 대해 제가 잘 모릅니다. 하지만 굶겨 죽이는 것은 정말 고통스럽습니다.

 

So as you're starving that sin, you're going to fight back. It's gonna be a slow and painful death. But in the midst of that, God is providing everything you need in Himself to overcome temptation. 

 그래서 여러분이 그 죄를 범하지 않을 때, 반격을 당할 것입니다. 이 작업은 천천히 그리고 고통스러운 죽음입니다. 하지만 그러한 과정 속에서, 하나님께서는 당신에게 필요한 모든 것을 공급하십니다. 그 죄를 이기기 위해 말이죠. 

 

So use one of His tools from the toolbox. Don't just fight sin. Flee it. 

따라서 그분을 도구 중 하나를 이용하세요. 단순히 죄와 싸우지 마시고요. 도망치세요.
