Christians, please, please, listen to me. 

 

저는 그 마지막 때와 예수님이 어떻게 곧 다시 오시는지에 대한 영상들을 정말 많이 봐 왔어요. 복음에 영상들 보다 더 말이죠. 

I've been seeing way too many videos talking about the end times and how Jesus is coming back soon. More than I've been seeing videos about the Gospel.

 

사실 전 이 함정에 진짜 빠져있었죠. 그 '마지막 때'라는 것에 너무 관심이 있었던 나머지, 제가 이 세상에서 살아가는 목적을 잊었었거든요. 그 목적은 바로 하나님을 알고, 그분을 세상에 알리는 것이었죠.

And I actually fell into this trap before. I was so interested in the end times that I forgot my purpose here. And that is to know God and to make Him known.

 

만약 예수님이 정말로 곧 오신다면, 그건 복음을 전할 동기가 더 생기는 일이 아닐까요?

If Jesus is really coming soon, wouldn't that give you more motivation to spread the Gospel?

 

정말로 그냥 앉아서.. 예수님이 곧 오시기만을 바란다고 말하고 싶으세요? 많은 사람들이 말 그대로 지금 지옥으로 가고 있는 동안에 말이에요? 

Do you want to tell me that you want to sit around and wait for Jesus to just come back? While people are literally on their way to hell right now?

 

우리에게는 그 사람들을 영원히 바꿔줄 수 있는 특권이 있습니다. 상상해 보세요. 이 땅에서 우리의 삶은 영원한 것에 비하며 그저 안개와 같은 거라고요.

We have the privilege to make an eternal difference. Imagine, our life here is nothing but a vapor compared to eternity.

 

정말 예수님이 다시 오시는 것을 원하십니까? 복음을 전하세요!

Do you really want Jesus to come back? Spread the Gospel!

 

정말 천국이 사람들로 붐비기를 원하십니까? 복음을 전하시라고요!

Do you really want to make Heaven crowded? Spread the Gospel!

 

정말로 하나님과 이웃을 사랑하기 원하시나요? 복음을 전해야 해요!

Do you really wanna love God and love other people? Spread the Gospel!

 

복음은 '구원하는' 것입니다. 그것은 사람들을 그리스도께로 인도하는 것이죠. 우리가 피할 수 있는 게 아니죠.

The Gospel is what saves, it's what brings people to Christ. It's not something we ever walk away from. 

 

하나님께서는 우리가 제자들을 만들기 원하십니다. 그리고 그분은 우리가 복음에 대해 열정을 갖기를 원하십니다.  

God wants us to make disciples and He wants us to be passionate about the Gospel.
