십자가에 달린 강도의 구원을 어떻게 생각하십니까?

How does the thief on the cross fit your theology?

세례도 받지 않았죠. 맹세도 없었구요. 성찬도 하지 않았습니다.

No baptism. No confirmation. No communion.

십원 한 장 헌금하지 않았고 방언을 한 적이 없습니다. 교회 봉사도 하지 않았어요.

Never gave a dime. Never spoken tongues. Never wore church clothes.

사실 그는 영접기도도 조차 안했습니다. 그리고 그는 도둑이었죠.

In fact, he never even said the sinner's prayer. And he was a thief.

예수님이 그의 고통을 가져가지도 않았습니다. 그의 몸을 치유하지도 않았어요.

Jesus didn't take away his pain. Didn't heal his body.

그러나 그날 예수님과 함께 천국에 들어간 것은 바로 그 도둑이었습니다.

Yet it was that very thief who walked into paradise with Jesus that day.

단순히 믿음으로 말이죠.

Simply by believing.

그 믿음 외에는 예수님께 드릴께 아무것도 없었습니다. 맞나요?

I mean he had nothing he could offer Jesus except that belief, right?

그는 여러분이 인스타 팔로우를 하는 그런 뛰어난 신학자가 아니었어요.

He wasn't some brilliant theologian you follow on Instagram.

자아도 없었죠. 라디오 플랫폼도 없었고, 조명도 없었습니다. 교회 로비에 있는 도넛이나 커피도 없었습니다.

No ego. No radio platform. No shiny lights. No donuts or coffee in the lobby of a church.

그는 그저 십자가에서 발가벚겨 죽어가는 하나님의 아들을 알아챈 사람이었습니다.

He was just a naked man dying on the cross who recognized the Son of God.

"하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는 저를 믿는 자마다 멸망치 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이니라"

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son so that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life"

이것이 복음입니다.

That's the Gospel.

복잡한가요? 네. 하지만 너무 간단합니다.

Complex? Yes. But so simple.

당신이 누구든, 그저 믿으시면 됩니다.
