And so we think to ourselves 'how can I share this faith with someone else?'

그래서 우리는 스스로 생각합니다. 어떻게 하면 이 믿음을 누군가에게 전할 수 있을까?

 

I want to give you a little insight to this, ready?

조금의 인사이트를 드리고 싶은데요, 준비됐나요?

 

We are not asking people to follow you. We are asking people to follow Jesus.

우리는 사람들에게 '여러분을 따르라'고 말하지 않습니다. 예수님을 따르라고 말하죠. 

 

You are not perfect. Jesus is perfect.  

여러분은 완벽하지 않습니다. 예수님이 완벽하시죠.

 

We don't want them to look to you. We want them to look to Him. And the greatest thing you can do is invite someone and even if you're not living it perfectly own that.

우리는 사람들이 '여러분을 보는 걸' 원하지 않아요. 그들이 '그 분을 보길' 원하죠. 여러분이 할 수 있는 위대한 일은 누군가를 초청하는 것입니다. 물론 여러분의 삶이 완벽하지 않다고 하더라도요.

 

I love telling people as a pastor, like 'I don't follow this perfectly, but I follow a perfect savior'

저는 목사로써, 사람들에게 이렇게 말하는 걸 좋아합니다. '저도 완벽하게 따르지 않지만, 완전하신 구세주를 따르는거죠'

 

And they're always like, 'But you are a pastor, aren't you supposed to?'

그러면 사람들은 늘 이렇게 말합니다. '하지만 당신은 목사잖아요. 완벽해야하는거 아닌가요?'

 

'Oh. I'm supposed to try. And I try hard, but the reality is that I'm not perfect, only God is. My job is to point you to a God who loves you who is'.

'오, 그저 완벽해지려 시도할 뿐이예요. 열심히요. 하지만 제가 완벽하지 않다는 것이 현실입니다. 오직 하나님만 완전하시죠. 제가 할 일은 당신을 하나님께로 향하게 하는 겁니다. 있는 그대로의 당신을 사랑하시는 분이시죠' 

 

See our invitation, our power comes from the imitation of the power of God, not the imitation and power of myself. 

우리의 초청을 보세요. 우리의 능력은 하나님의 능력을 따르는데서 옵니다. 나 자신의 능력을 따르는게 아닙니다.
