I think big tech is doing a horrible thing for our country and to our country and I believe it is going to be a catastrophic mistake for them.

저는 ‘빅테크(페북,트윗 등)’가 우리나라에 끔찍한 일을 저지르고 있다고 생각합니다. 그리고 저는 그것이 그들에게 치명적인 실수가 될 것이라고 믿습니다.

They’re dividing and divisive and they’re showing something that I’ve been predicting for a long time. I’ve been predicting it for a long time, and people didn’t act on it.

그들은 편을 가르고, 분열을 초래하고 있으며, 그들은 제가 오래 전부터 예상한 짓들을 보이고 있습니다. 저는 예전부터 그럴줄 예상하고 있었습니다만, 사람들은 그렇게 행동하지 않았죠.

But I think big tech has made a terrible mistake and very, very bad for our country and that’s leading others to do the same thing. It causes a lot of problems and a lot of danger.

Big mistake and they shouldn’t be doing it. But there's always a counter-move when they do that. I've never seen such anger as I see right now, and that's a terrible thing. Terrible thing.

So if you read my speech, and many people have done it and I've seen it both in the papers and in the media, on television, it's been analyzed and people thought that what I said was totally appropriate. And if you look at what other people have said

politicians at a high level — about the riots during the summer, the horrible riots in Portland and Seattle and various other places, that was a real problem, what they said.
