Gender is not a scientific concept. The way that the left is talking about gender. The way that AOC is talking about gender and patriarchy is not scientific. Gender is not a scientific term. Gender was a term that was never applied to human beings in popular culture until about the 1960s.

‘젠더’는 과학적 개념이 아닙니다. 좌파들이 ‘젠더’를 주장하는 논리, AOC가 ‘젠더와 가부장제’를 말하는 방법은 과학적이지 않습니다. ‘젠더’는 과학적인 용어가 아닙니다. ‘젠더’는 1960년대까지 '대중문화속 인류'에게 적용된 적이 없었던 용어입니다. 

Gender was a term that was applied to language. You have gendered language.. really not so much in English, but in other languages. So for instance, Latino has a masculine gender. ‘Latina’ has a feminine gender. ‘Pizza’ the Italian word, ‘pizza’ it ends in an A and it's got a female gender. But I don't know ‘Pranzo’ which is the Italian word for lunch that ends in an O and it's got a male gender.

‘'젠더’는 언어에 적용되었던 용어입니다. 언어에는 ‘젠더’가 있죠.. 영어에서는 찾기 힘들지만, 다른 언어에는 존재합니다. 예를 들어, ‘Latino’라는 단어는 ‘남성’을 가집니다. ‘Latina’는 ‘여성’을 가지고요. ‘A’로 끝나는 이탈리아어 ‘Pizza’는 여성을 가집니다. 점심식사라는 뜻으로, 'o'로 끝나는 이탈리아 단어 ‘Pranzo’는 남성이라는 젠더를 갖고 있습니다.

The gender is a language term. The entire purpose of the left making gender into a description of people is to undermine science. It's to separate sex from gender. You hear this all the time. I talk to conservatives all the time on campuses around the country. And I think even many conservatives believe this. They believe that there is a difference between sex and gender.

이렇듯 ‘젠더’는 언어용어입니다. 좌파들이 ‘젠더’용어를 사람에게 사용하도록 하는 목적은, 과학을 무너뜨리고자 함 입니다. ‘젠더’랑 ‘성’이 분리되었다고 말하면서 말이죠. 여러분들도 항상 이 말을 들어왔을 겁니다. 저는 미국의 대학캠퍼스들을 돌아다니며 항상 보수청년들에게 말해왔는데요. 심지어 많은 보수청년들도 이 개념을 받아들이는 것 같았습니다. 많은 청년들이 ‘성’과 ‘젠더’가 다른 개념이라고 믿는다는 말입니다.   

I mean in their defense, this is what they're taught in classrooms. This is what kids are now taught from kindergarten all the way through college or graduate school. The thing is there is no difference between sex and gender. Sex and gender have no difference. We just have 'SEX'. I can prove it to you. I can give you the argument. You can use to show this to any leftist. Even conservatives fall into this trap. We buy the leftist premise that there's a difference between gender and sex. Or if we don't maybe we don't want to grant that premise, but we try to argue about it scientifically. There's no scientific argument for it. Here is how I've talked to so many left wingers about this.

그들도 그럴수 밖에 없는게.. 교실에서 배운게 이 내용이니까요. 현재도 어린아이들이 유치원부터 대학교, 대학원까지 이런 걸 배우고 있습니다. 중요한 것은 ‘성’과 ‘젠더’는 차이가 없는 같은 개념이라는 것입니다. '성'과 '젠더'는 차이점이 없는 같은 것입니다. 우리는 오직 ‘성’개념 하나만 가지고 있을 뿐입니다. 제가 이것을 증명하고, 논거를 알려드리겠습니다. 좌파들에게 이 방법을 사용하십시오. 심지어 보수주의자들조차 이 함정에 빠지는 것을 봤습니다. ‘젠더’와 ‘성’이 다르다는 좌파의 ‘전제’를 받아들이고 있다는 겁니다. 아니면 만약 우리가 그 ‘전제’를 허용하지 않고, 과학적으로 논의를 시도하려 한다고 해도.. 이에 대한 과학적인 논증 자체가 없습니다. 이제 제가 수많은 좌파들과 이것에 대해 어떻게 논쟁했는지를 알려드리겠습니다.

They can never answer the ultimate questions. Here's how the argument goes. This is what the left says. They say sex is biological, but gender is not biological. It's a social construct. It's psychological. It's not physical. It's not the same as sex. But if gender is just a social construct, if it's just sort of a choice, then people should choose to make their gender conform to their biological sex, right?

그들은 절대 그 근본적인 질문에 대답할 수 없습니다. 이렇게 논쟁하십시요. 좌파들이 분명 이런 식으로 말합겁니다. "성은 생물학적 개념이고, 젠더는 생물학적 개념이 아니야.. 젠더는 사회적 산물이라구. 이건 심리적인거야. 이건 몸에 대한게 아니야. 그러니까 이건 ‘성’과는 다른 거라구!" 라고 말할 겁니다. 하지만 그들의 말대로 ‘젠더’가 그저 ‘사회적인 요소’이고 일종의 ‘선택’일 뿐이라면, 그 사람들은 자신들의 ‘생물학적 성’에 따라 ‘젠더’를 선택해야만 합니다. 그렇죠?

If you can just kind of choose your gender and it's just a matter of your personal will, then if you're biologically a man, but you identify as a female, and that's just a choice, then you should just choose to identify as a male. That's much easier than going through all this awful surgery, mutilating yourself, changing every single bathroom in the country, right?

만약 여러분이 당신의 젠더를 선택하고, 그것이 개인의 의지의 문제라고 한다면, 그러면 만약 당신이 생물학적으로 남자이지만, 정체성은 여성이라고 한다면, 그러면 그건 그저 선택일 뿐인 겁니다. 그러면 여러분의 여러분의 정체성을 그저 남성이라고 선택하면 되는 겁니다. 그것이 훨씬 쉽지 않습니까? 온갖 끔찍한 수술을 하고, 스스로의 몸을 훼손하며, 이 나라의 모든 화장실을 바꿔버리는 것보다 말이죠. 그렇지 않나요?

Of course. But then what the gender ideologues will say is it's not quite like that. Sex is in the body and you know the chromosomes or the genitals or whatever, but gender is in the brain. Okay, and you can't change your brain. Oh, well okay except.. then that means that gender is biological, then there..  then it's not a difference of biological and not biological because of the brain is the part of the body.

물론이죠. 하지만 잰더 관념론자들은 그렇게 말하지 않습니다. ‘성’은 우리 몸속의 염색체 혹은 생식기 뭐 그런 것에 있는 것이고, 젠더는 우리의 뇌 안에 있는 것이다. 좋습니다. 그러면 당신은 당신의 뇌를 바꿀수 없는 거잖아요. 그러면 젠더 역시 생물학적이란 의미인거죠. 결국 생물학적인 걸과 아닌것과의 차이점이 없다는 겁니다. 뇌 역시 우리 몸의 일부니까요.

The brain is probably the most important part of the body. So then you have to conclude sex and gender are both biological, so how can your biology be both male and female? How can your biology be both you are a man and a woman? Except in the exceedingly rare case where there's some confusion in chromosomes or in in genitals, which is not what transgender ideologue are talking about.

뇌는 아마도 몸에서 가장 중요한 부분일 겁니다. 따라서 여러분은 ‘성과 젠더’ 모두 생물학적인 것이라고 결론을 내려야 할 것입니다. 그러면 어떻게 당신이 생물학적으로 남성과 여성이 동시에 될 수 있을까? 어떻게 당신이 생물학적으로 남자와 여자가 동시에 될 수 있습니까? 염색체나 생식기에 어떤 혼란이 있는 극히 드문 경우를 제외하고는 그럴수 없는 것인데, 트랜스젠더 사상이 주장하는 것은 이 경우가 아니죠.

How can it be both one thing and not that thing? So this is what they're coming around to now. This is the new stage of gender ideology and it's where you hear phrases like biologically female penises. I had a gender activist tell me once at the University of Michigan. She said ‘Yes of course there can be biologically female penises and of course there can be biologically male uteruses.’ ‘Biological.’ See cuz they want the language of science, but if that is the case then the words male and female, the words man and woman have no meaning because they can.. because the word male in that case can refer to either male or female.

어떻게 동시에 '이것이면서 이것이 아닐 수' 있겠습니까? 이 말이 지금 그들이 주장하고 있는 것입니다. 이것이 젠더 이데올로기의 새로운 단계이며, 그들은 "생물학적으로 ‘여성음경’이 있다"와 같은 용어들을 말하기 시작합니다. 저가 예전에 미시간대학교에서 '젠더 운동가'와 대화를 할 수 있는 기회가 있었는데요. 그녀는 이렇게 말했습니다, ‘네, 물론이죠. 생물학적으로 ‘여성음경’이 존재하구요. 그리고 물론 생물학적으로 ‘남성자궁’도 존재할 수 있습니다. ‘생물학적’으로 말이죠. 보십시요. 그들은 과학적용어를 원한다지만, 만약 그런식으로 ‘남성’과 ‘여성’이라는 단어를 사용한다면, 그러면 ‘남자’와 ‘여자’라는 단어의 의미가 없어지는 겁니다. 왜냐하면 이런 경우 ‘남성’이란 단어가 ‘남성or여성’ 둘다를 의미할 수 있게 되기 때문이죠.

The word man can refer to either man or woman and vice versa. They don't it's it's not that you're even changing the definition of the word so much as you're just getting rid of the words altogether. Now they get very confused on this and they always run away and they can’t answer these questions. But I actually see what they’re trying to talk about. What the gender theory people are trying to describe is not scientific characteristic of people.

‘남자’라는 단어가 ‘남자’와 ‘여자’ 모두를 지칭할 수 있게 되는 겁니다. 그 반대의 경우도 마찬가지고 말이죠. 이것은 그저 그 단어를 뜻을 바꾸는 것을 넘어, 심지어 그 단어를 완전히 없애버리는 짓인 겁니다. 이제 그들은 이 문제에 대해 매우 혼란스러워하고, 이 문제에 대해 답하지 못하고 늘 도망쳐오고 있습니다.
