We're here this afternoon to change the course of history. After decades of division and conflict, we mark the dawn of a new Middle East. Together, these agreements will serve as the foundation for a comprehensive peace across the entire region.

우리는 역사의 흐름을 바꾸기 위해 오늘 이 자리에 모였습니다. 수십년간의 분단과 갈등 끝에, 우리는 중동지역의 새로운 여명을 맞이합니다. 이러한 합의는 (중동의) 전 지역에 걸쳐 포괄적인 평화를 이루기 위한 토대가 될 것입니다.

Something which nobody thought was possible. For generations the people of the Middle East have been held back by old conflicts hostilities. These agreements prove that the nations of the region are breaking free from the failed approaches of the past.

모두가 불가능하다고 생각했던 것. 오랜 갈등의 적대행위로 인해, 중동인들은 여러 세대에 걸쳐 묶여 있었습니다. 이러한 협정은 그 지역의 국가들이 과거의 실패했던 접근법으로부터 벗어나고 있다는 것을 증명하는 것입니다.

Today's signing sets history on a new course. Today, the world sees that they're choosing cooperation over conflict, friendship over enmity, prosperity over poverty, and hope over despair. They are choosing a future in which Arabs and Israelis, Muslims, Jews and Christians can live together, pray together, and dream together, side by side in harmony, community and peace.
