So a left student on campus just called campus security on us because apparently we were terrorizing people and riling people up with our dangerous horrible ideas. Let’s see what these people have to say.

지금 좌파 학생이 저희를 쫓아 내려고 캠퍼스 경찰을 불렀는데요. 저희가 끔찍한 이념으로 사람들을 겁주고 화나게 만들었다는 이유로 말이죠. 이 사람들이 뭐라고 말하는지 한 번 들어보겠습니다.

Hi. There are two people on our campus right here, who are with a conservative group, who are here to try to fearmonger students.

안녕하세요. 지금 여기 캠퍼스 안에 우파쪽 사람 두 명이 있는데요. 학생들한테 겁주려고 온 것 같거든요.

PragerU. Like Prager University, but they’re not an actual, legitimate University.

‘프래거유’라고.. ‘프래거대학’인데요. 뭐 실제존재하는 합법적인 대학은 아니구요.

Well, they're going up to students and they're trying to ask them questions and such.

글쎄요, 학생들한테 접근해서 질문 같은 걸 막 하고 그러거든요.

- What do you not like about it?  - Everything that you guys stand for.

- 우리의 어떤게 싫은 거에요?  - 당신들이 추구하는 모든 게 싫어요.

- What do we stand for?  - Misinformation.

- 우리가 뭘 추구하는데요?  - 잘못된 정보요.

- Like what information?  - Oh pssht.. trust me, you guys are really good at it.

- 예를 들어 어떤 잘못된 정보요?  - 오ㅋㅋ 당신들이 정말 잘하는 그런거 있잖아요.

- We’re just curious.  – No, you’re not.

- 뭔지 궁금해서 그래요.  – 아니잖아요.

- I’m honestly curious.  – No, you’re not.

- 진짜 궁금해서 그래요.  – 아닌거 다 알아요.

- I’d love to know.  – No, you wouldn’t.

- 정말 알고 싶어요.  – 아니, 아닌거 알아요.

- Well, that’s why we’re asking.  – No, you’re not.

- 모르니깐 묻는 거에요.  – 아닌거 알아요~

- I just asked you.  – Nope.

- 그냥 묻는거라니까요.  – 됐어요.

- How can we help? 

- 뭘 도와드릴까요?

- Can you remove these two from campus please?  - The reason?

- 이 두 사람을 캠퍼스 밖으로 쫓아 주시겠어요?  - 이유가 뭐죠?

Because they’re here to fearmonger students and that’s no okay.

왜냐면 이 사람들이 여기서 학생들을 겁주고 있어요. 나쁜거죠.

- fearmonger?  - Yeah. Because these are people who are coming in and instigating and terrorizing our students  on this campus and that’s not okay.

- 겁준다고요?  - 네, 이 사람들이 여기 캠퍼스에 와서 학생들 겁주고, 선동하고 있거든요. 나쁜거잖아요.   

Are they telling you that you can’t leave this area? Are they threatening you specifically in anyway?

이 사람들이 당신이 여기 이 자리를 떠나지 못하게 했나요? 구체적으로 어떤 협박을 했나요?

Not specifically. They’re threatening me with their language, with their ideals.

구체적으로 아니구요. ‘말’하고 ‘이념’으로 협박하고 있어요.

Unfortunately, I mean, if your ideals or their language doesn’t conform to what your thinking is, that’s what, that’s what freedom of speech is.

죄송합니다만, 만약 당신의 생각이랑 이 사람들의 말이 일치하지 않는 것을 이야기하는거라면,, 그건 그저 ‘표현의 자유’인 겁니다.

So if you agree with a certain thing, he agrees with something else, then you guys agree to disagree.

그니까 만약 당신이 어떤 것에 동의하고, 저 사람은 (그거 말고) 다른 것에 동의한다면, 그건 그냥 ‘당신 둘이 서로 다르다’라는 겁니다.

As long as they’re not taking you against your will. As long as they’re not threatening you physically. They’re allowed to have their opinion just as much as you’re allowed to have yours.

저 사람들이 당신 의지를 뺏으려고 하지 않는 한, 물리적으로 당신을 협박하지 않는 한. 저들도 자신들의 의견을 이야기할 수 있다는 겁니다. 당신이 지금 당신의 의견을 말하는 것처럼 말이죠.

So there’s nothing you guys can do?

그래서 지금 할 수 있는게 아무것도 없다는 건가요?

No sir, that’s freedom of speech.

네, 없습니다. 이건 그냥 ‘표현의 자유’입니다.

So that means they’re allowed to terrorize students by using their..

Once again, “terrorize” is a word that you’re using. That’s your opinion.

다시 한번 말씀드리지만, 당신이 사용하는 “겁준다”는 말은 당신 의견일 뿐이에요.  

I’m here to help you as much as I can, but I’m trying to figure out what law they’re breaking right now. So I’m trying to figure that out. That’s why I’m asking you. You just keep giving me ideas, your opinions. And the law is not about opinions, it’s about facts.

여기에 와서 지금 제가 할 수 있는 한 도움을 드리려고 했고, 이 사람들이 지금 어떤 법을 어겼는지 알아내려고 했는데. 찾아보려고 했어요. 그래서 당신에게 물어본 거잖아요. 근데 당신은 지금그저 당신 생각하고 의견만 말하고 있어요. ‘법’은 의견이 아닌, ‘사실’에 의해 집행되는 거라구요.

As you can see, leftist don't support freedom of speech. I have “dangerous” ideas. I have ideas that are so terrible he can't even say what they are. They will not allow a difference of opinion on their campus that doesn't conform to their leftist agenda.

여러분도 보시다시피, 좌파들은 ‘표현의 자유’를 지지하지 않습니다. 저들이 보기에 저는 “위험한” 생각을 가진 사람입니다. 저는 좌파들이 뭔지조차 말할 수 없는 끔찍한 생각을 가지고 있는 겁니다. 좌파들은 자신들이 따르는 ‘좌파 아젠다’에 부합하지 않으면, 캠퍼스에서 조차 ‘의견의 다름’을 허용하지 않을 것입니다.
